How do you feel about the future? Do you feel you are in control of things happening or do you often feel that things are just happening to you? In psychology this feeling is depicted by the concept 'locus of control'. It shapes the way you experience life, your self-pereception and how you deal with challenges. Locus of control also affects how you handle stress and your risk of burn-out.
In this interactive workshop you will learn more about the 'locus of control' concept and how it influences your motivation, behaviour, well-being, goal setting etc... You will get an insight of where you are on the scale of 'locus of control' and you will learn how to manage it. Our goal is to make you more aware and make you feel more in control of your future.
We're looking forward to get to know you!
10days of mental health
This workshop is organised by Co-Searching as part of the 10 days of mental health (1/10-10/10). During the 10days we focus on mental wellbeing for jobseekers, people who can't work and working people. We will talk about work but it won't be our main focus.
This is the only English spoken workshop we organise during these 10days but we also organise some workshops in Dutch. You can find them on our website. Or on the general website of the '10 days of mental health'.
Important!
If you register for this workshop we expect you to be there. We put in a lot of effort organizing and preparing this workshop.
Every time a participant does not show up we have an empty chair at our table that could have been filled by somebody else who wanted to be there. So don't forget to delete your participation if you can't make it or contact Annelies.
For who?
This workshop is open for all jobseekers and working people who want to learn and discuss. You are welcome regardless of your age, sector, gender, education level, etc.
This workshop requires enough knowledge of English to be able to participate in a conversation.
